Design Philosophy
Every decision at Promot — from material sourcing to the curve of a rocker — is guided by four unwavering principles.
We believe the surface you touch should be worthy of the space it inhabits. Every material is chosen for its character, not its convenience.
True luxury is the absence of excess. Our designs strip away the unnecessary to reveal what matters — form, finish, and feel.
We engineer for decades, not trends. Our switches are designed to age with grace, developing character over time like fine architecture.
From raw material to final assembly, every step of our process is transparent, traceable, and uncompromising in quality.
Our mechanisms are tested to 100,000+ operations — far exceeding industry standards. Silver-cadmium contacts ensure clean, arc-free switching. Every component is precision-molded to tolerances of ±0.05mm.
Flame-retardant polycarbonate housings rated to 850°C glow-wire test. IP20 protection standard, with IP44 available for wet areas. Full ISI, CE, and BIS certification across all product lines.

Promot switches use high-performance PBT material that enhances safety, durability, and heat resistance.
The brass terminal is chambered inside a high-strength PBT body. This structure isolates the terminal from the outer plastic body, preventing direct heat transfer and electrical contact — significantly reducing fire risk and improving safety.

Tri-layer construction: Polycarbonate → Steel → Polycarbonate
Patented Technology
At the heart of every Promot switch lies our proprietary bi-material base frame — a steel core sandwiched between two layers of engineering-grade polycarbonate. This tri-layer construction delivers unmatched structural rigidity while maintaining the insulation and safety properties essential for electrical fittings.
Unlike conventional all-plastic frames that flex, warp, or crack under pressure, our metal-reinforced base plate ensures modules remain perfectly aligned for decades — no loosening, no rattling, no compromise.
Flame-retardant outer shell providing electrical insulation, UV resistance, and a precision-molded surface for module mounting.
Rigid metal skeleton embedded within the frame. Provides warp-proof structural integrity, superior screw retention, and wall-mounting strength.
Bottom insulation layer ensuring complete electrical isolation from the wall box. Tested to 850°C glow-wire standard.

Promot Pixel Series uses engineering-grade thermoset material — trusted in industrial and aerospace applications — to deliver uncompromising protection against electrical fires.
Thermoset housing — does not melt on heating
Conventional switches use thermoplastics that soften under heat, exposing live terminals and increasing fire risk.
Thermoset materials retain structure and resist high temperatures, ensuring safer electrical performance.

Fire Safety Innovation
Promot Pixel Series uses engineering-grade thermoset material — the same class of polymers trusted in industrial and aerospace applications — to deliver uncompromising protection against electrical fires.
Electrical fires cause thousands of casualties every year
Most conventional switches use thermoplastic materials that can melt and deform under extreme heat, potentially exposing live terminals and causing electrical fires. Promot’s thermoset material is fundamentally different — it does not melt.
When exposed to extreme temperatures, thermoset chars and self-extinguishes without propagating fire. The live parts remain safely shrouded, preventing terminals from fusing together even during severe overheating events.

Every Pixel Series switch is engineered with multiple safety barriers to eliminate the risk of electrical fire.
Unlike thermoplastic, thermoset material does not melt or deform when exposed to extreme heat — it chars without catching fire.
Live parts and current-carrying terminals are fully shrouded by thermoset material, preventing them from fusing during overheating.
Engineering-grade thermoset provides inherent flame retardancy — the material self-extinguishes and does not propagate fire.
Excellent dielectric strength isolates live components, preventing short circuits that are the leading cause of electrical fires.
